Meet the Joint Living Team
At Joint Living, we recognise that everyone has the right to live as an individual and feel happy and safe in their environment and community. Along with ensuring we offer calm communal and private spaces in our houses, we also ensure our staff are all DBS checked and we have safeguarding procedures in place, should we ever need to support one of our tenants through a difficult situation.
We offer staff training and shared knowledge on the LGBTQ+ community and the importance of care for our tenants, this is an ongoing practice of learning of which we are very aware of the importance of inclusivity.
We want to do everything we can for our tenants, while they are with us to ensure we can offer them the best possible living experience while they study. We understand the importance of feeling welcomed and part of a community and we know that many of our tenants have come to a new city and may not know anyone yet, which can be really daunting, which is why we host a social for all our tenants, so everyone can get the opportunity to meet us and one another and find friends in their area. We also offer our tenants a monthly Free Pizza Friday and have partnered with Pizza Pilgrims, so once our tenants are in the house they can spend time with their house mates, on us.
Most of our first-year tenants will stay with us for the full duration of their studies and that is something we are really proud of.
Charlotte
Charlotte is our Wellbeing & Safeguarding Mentor; She is Mental Health First Aid Trained and is on hand to offer any additional support to our tenants. She has been instrumental in moving our focus to our tenants and is the creative genius behind most of our social media.

Dan
Dan is the Manager of our in-house property maintenance team; he is the man in the know and is very supportive and responsive to our tenants needs. He wants to help you enjoy the house and so he will be the one creating handy guides and how- tos. All maintenance issues are dealt with through our convenient tenant app that pings straight to him.

A Golden Retriever because I like to help, chase balls around a golf course and enjoy a good hug!

Always be honest to others and yourself.

Always knock before entering a bedroom!
What’s your favourite part of the job at Joint Living?
Being the landlord and the agent giving us the ability to truly help students and make their living experience a great one!
Top of my bucket list is?
Go to Antarctica to experience a place that’s so far from everyday life.
The best way I know how to relax and switch off?
Playing golf because it allows me to switch off from daily stresses and reset.

Bryan
Bryan is a member of our lettings team and as a student himself knows all too well what hassle finding a great place can be and a landlord that cares. We train all our staff to be full of knowledge for each of our houses, their unique features and proximity to each university throughout the City, to help our tenants find the perfect house for them. Bryan loves Brighton and his favourite pastime is eating out in restaurants, so if you need any tips, he’s your man.

Zoe
Our MD Zoe has nearly twenty years experience working in the property market and is on a mission to change the student letting’s market, so that the tenant is actually thought about. She started this agency with this in mind and is an advocate for improving the student accommodation experience. She is a proud member of The Living Wage, making sure all team members are paid fairly and treated with respect, as well as being on the board of local charities.
